What this calculator does not include

The exemption allowance is disallowed entirely when federal AGI exceeds $250,000 ($500,000 for joint filers). The model also ignores the extra $1,000 allowance for filers who are 65+ or blind, dependent allowances, and credits such as the Illinois EITC and the property tax credit. The calculator also leaves out dependents, tax credits, additional withholding on your W-4 and non-wage income. Your employer's withholding can differ from your final tax bill.
