Editorial Policy

Last updated October 8, 2026

JobQuix content is produced by the JobQuix Editorial Team. These standards apply to every guide, calculator, quiz and template on the site.

Accuracy first

  • Facts about pay, taxes, employment law and labor statistics are checked against primary sources, including the IRS, the Social Security Administration, the U.S. Department of Labor, the EEOC, the Bureau of Labor Statistics and O*NET.
  • Guides that cite official figures list their sources at the bottom of the page.
  • We do not publish invented statistics, fake reviews or made-up testimonials. Example resumes, letters and interview answers use fictional people and companies, and we label them as examples.

How calculators work

Our salary and pay tools use published formulas and the current tax year's federal figures. Each calculator page explains its assumptions, such as filing status and hours worked, so you can judge whether the estimate fits your situation. State and local taxes are not included unless a page says so.

Independence

JobQuix earns money from display advertising. Advertisers have no say over our content, and we do not accept payment to recommend products, schools or services.

Not professional advice

Our content is general information for US job seekers. It is not legal, tax, financial or medical advice. For decisions that depend on your specific circumstances, talk to a qualified professional.

Updates and corrections

We review tax and pay figures each year when new federal numbers are published, and we update guides when rules or best practices change. Each guide shows the date it was last updated. If you spot an error, tell us. We correct verified errors promptly.
