Desmond Hale writes the wages and payroll section of JobQuix. That means the minimum wage page for every state, the overtime, PTO and time-to-decimal calculators, the guides to biweekly and semi-monthly pay and full-time hours, and the company pay guides that explain what employers like Walmart, Amazon or FedEx have publicly said they pay.
He keeps a calendar of state minimum wage changes, most of which land on January 1 and July 1, and updates each page from the state labor department's own notice rather than from news summaries. Company pay pages cite the company's announcement or job posting with its date, because postings expire and pay bands move. If a figure on one of his pages has no linked source, that is a bug, and you can report it on the contact page.
