Owen Castellano edits the letters section of JobQuix: resignation and two weeks notice letters, cover letter examples by job, the thank-you, follow-up and offer-reply emails that come up during a job search, and the business and HR letter templates such as verification, reference, offer and termination letters.
He writes every template so that a reader can fill in the brackets and send it in under five minutes, and the generators on the site produce a finished, printable letter from a short form without uploading anything. Where a letter has a legal side, such as final pay, notice periods or references, the guide states the general federal rule from the Department of Labor or the EEOC, notes that states differ, and suggests checking with HR or a lawyer for anything that depends on your contract.
